Hundred-year-old marathoner Fauja Singh is denied a spot in the Guinness World Book of Records. on October 16 Fauja Singh finished a marathon. Fauja Singh dose not have a birth certificate from 1911 so he has no proof that he is 100 years old. Singh has a British passport showing his date of birth as being April 1, 1911, as well as a letter from the Queen congratulating him on his 100th birthday. it took him 8 hours to cross the finish line.
~~~ i think that this old man is amazing to be running at 100 years old and i hope he continues to do this in the rest of his life.
I think its amazing that now days, even 100 year old men can run a marathon. This is a perfect example on how human civilization and life span is growing. Eventually though, its going to be a problem for us, because many people wont die until they are 100. The population will increase, and resources will start to deplete. There will be too many people living on Earth, and wars will break out.
I was pretty surprised then I read this article, because not all 100 years old man can do it in nowadays. I fish I could do it in 100!
